Will Pound is one of the world's top harmonica players and has taken the instrument to new places and new music, and has a style that is completely his own.
Featured artist on the Christmas no.1 single for Hillsborough, He Ain't Heavy, Will has performed with musicians as diverse as Martin Simpson, Guy Chambers and Concerto Caledonia. He's taken the harmonica to new places and new music with a style completely his own. 2013 sees Will release his debut solo album A Cut Above and touring with the Will Pound Band featuring John Parker (Nizlopi), Chris Sarjeant (Jackie Oates) and Henry Webster. Haddo now gives Will the platform to share his expertise on the melodeon.
Nicky graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London, having specialised in Baroque Viola. During this time, she had the privilege to work with the exceptional conductors, Sir Charles Mackerras and Sir Colin Davis. She is a sought after session musician, counting live concerts with Sir Elton John amongst her credits. More recently, she featured on singer songwriter Blair Dunlop's début album Blight and Blossom. She is rapidly becoming known as an accomplished composer, as well as for her original fiddle style.
As well as her performance work, Nicky is a well respected teacher with a thriving teaching practice in the Midlands.
